Trimming the roller blind width

Bamboo blinds can be trimmed to measure, prices for trimming the width start from DKK 299 and can take up to 3 weeks.

Trimming options in width without moving cord system:

Size 80 cm can be cut down to 60 cm.
Size 100 cm can be cut down to 72 cm.
Size 90 cm can be cut down to 70 cm.
Size 120 cm can be cut down to 90 cm.
Size 130 cm can be cut down to 100 cm.
Size 140 cm can be cut down to 110 cm.
Size 160 cm can be cut down to 130 cm
Size 180 cm can be cut down to 140 cm

The blind can also be cut to the right height, but we recommend letting the excess length hang like a roll, as bamboo is a very light material and the roll at the bottom will not be very large. In addition, it is also attractive to see the small roll of bamboo at the bottom of the blind, which also adds some weight.

It is not possible to cancel custom trimmed items and your payment will be deducted as soon as your order is received and not only upon dispatch. If you want to customise the blind yourself, we recommend using a sharp pair of scissors or a fine saw.

Survey:

The standard dimensions of the blind are measured along the bamboo strips from edge to edge. The suspension hooks measure 2 cm, so if you want the blind to hang within a window frame, and you do not want a roll at the bottom, 2 cm will need to be deducted from the length.

Example: If the window frame measures 150cm from top to bottom, the blind must be cut to 148cm in order to hang freely without a roll. Similarly, if the blind is to hang inside the window frame and extend all the way to both edges, 0.5 cm must be removed from the window frame's dimensions on each side. This will allow the blind to roll up and down smoothly.

Example: If the window frame measures 120 cm in width, the curtain must measure 119cm in order to be able to roll up and down smoothly. In an old property with sloping windows, we generally recommend adding 1 cm to each side.
